Here’s a shot of my desktop today: Linux Mint (built on Ubuntu, built on Debian) with Compiz. Shown are 2 of my 6 desktops. On the left is twhirl running on the alpha Linux version of Adobe AIR. On the right is a terminal where PDFedit has dailed to compile because it cant find the (installed) Boost libraries.
I love my spinning 3D desktops because I can be more productive: I keep things up and running on all sides, then just spin to the one I need. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s just damn cool. And it blows Vista away.

Quick question, what do you think of the new Entrecard system?

I’m not happy about it. What really irks me is there was no communication from the management. You don’t change a system like that without a heads up to people. I’m annoyed with them. What do you think, Jess?
I’m not happy. It seems like a complete newbie would have to drop all 300 cards for at least 2 days in order to buy one ad on many of the sites. And having sites like johnchow cost 16,000+ ecs is just insane. You’re right, I’m so glad they let us know first. Unhappy!

I seriously dislike it too. I think it will soon be useless to most people. Except for those who can spend 24/7 dropping cards.

That is great. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Tim. Cablegirl directed me over here to you a while back. She told me a few days ago that you hadn’t heard from me. I tried reaching you with the contact form here but I guess it didn’t work, so I’ll try that again, plus I’m leaving a comment here and over at Twitter. Best to be thorough I guess, right?
